Q. Can I buy products/supplies without a prescription?
A. Yes, you can buy certain products/supplies without a prescription. However, some require a prescription.

Q. What is a detailed prescription?
A. A detailed prescription is given by your doctor/physician that states the product/service that you need. The prescriptions should have the following information on it: your name, date of birth (DOB), description of products/service that you need, and the doctor's signature and date.

Q. Does Shields Home Medical Equipment have a return policy?
A. No, due to the nature of our equipment all sales are final; however, all products are backed by a warranty.

Q. Does Shields Home Medical Equipment work with Medicaid and Medicare?
A. Yes, we accept both Medicaid and Medicare, and we also accept most other insurance companies. Also, we have recently partnered with the new Arkansas PASSE program.

Q. Can you dispose of old medical equipment when new medical equipment is delivered?
A. No, you must dispose of old equipment on your own.
